The City of Toronto and a team from the University of Toronto together with Toronto’s youth leaders and community are developing a strategy to support broader youth engagement in climate action as a part of the TransformTO Net Zero Strategy.

What are the top 3 things the City of Toronto should do to support youth leadership in climate action?

For example, job training, funding mental health support for climate and eco-anxiety, hosting climate events, focusing on increased public transit, creating a climate hub, increasing funding for existing youth climate action, encouraging empowering climate action in curriculum, helping to build a youth climate network, supporting Indigenous Sovereignty, and more.
