If I can honestly say that I perform my services conscientiously when I earn my money, do I have a moral right to expect to receive conscientious service when spending it?
Yes. This is the only basis in which a civilised society, where people provide and receive services and goods according to different gifts and specialisations can work. The alternative is a downward spiral.
No. You should not expect the same high service and therefore should drop your own service delivery
No. You should keep being conscientious yourself and just accept that people will not appreciate that, and have you continually taken advantage of when it comes to spending your reward. You should just accept that is your role in life, to be everybody's mug.
